A One day workshop on Biodiversity Conservation in Inland Wetland was held at Azarbari Secondary School, in Morigaon District, Assam.

The workshop was organized by Resources Centre for Sustainable Development in collaboration with Assam Science Society under NEAC 2013-14 programme.

In the one day workshop, teachers and Students from Azarbari Secondary School, members from local Panchayat participated. Ranjit Sarma, Dipu Dutta from School, Mrinal Kumar Pator from RCSD as resource person in the workshop. The speaker imparted knowledge in the subject of wetland conservation and its importance. Mr. Dipu Dutta, AT of ASS formally inaugurated the workshop, while the welcome address was delivered by Mr M.K.Pator. Mr. Debashis Sinha elaborated on the purpose of the workshop.

On the occasion student had participated in the drawing completion on wetland conservation. Awards were distributed among the students in the valedictory function and Mr. M.K. Pator Coordinator RCSD offered vote of thanks.
